Additionally, under the instruction and help of Dr.Aisha Walker and Katrina Lenhart, I was able to cover a vast amount of readings that focused on the fundamentals of research and career development through module assignments throughout our weekly schedule.

Everyone who participated belonged to their specific track however, we did a variety of discipline immersion courses that allowed us to mingle with all tracks. The program ranged from 6 weeks and it gave us a look into the life of our set track. Weeks 2-6 were fast paced and unforgiving if you didn’t study for the several quizzes and tests in the 3 subjects which were, Anatomy, Physiology and Organic Chemistry.Overall, the program gave great insight to what our first year would look and feel like in regards to academia and extracurriculars.
